Bank Interiors
he former branch of Sparkasse Hannover was converted to the Real Estate Center by the architects Schulze & Partner Architecture.
Built in 1972, the bank is located in the center of the Historical Quarter of Hannover on the corner of Karmarsch Street and Markt Street.
For its new role as a consultation center, the counter area on the ground floor was replacedby a glass and steal staircase leading up. The first and second floors join the public area and the administrative division.
The original architecture has not been covered up, but rather fit and interpreted to perform a new function without losing its character.
The Materials
The color scheme of the materials chosen for a room extension should correspond to the materials used for the building’s existing architecture and facade.
The California Walnut, known for its familiar and distinctive grain is the form-defining wood of choice for furniture and dividing walls.
